Libya is a country in North Africa in-between Algeria and Egypt. Most of Libya is dessert and it has no rivers so people live near oasis to get water. Libya was a poor country until 1959 when the country found oil underground, So the country used the oil money to bye food ,build school, and build hospitals.more then two-thirds of the country live along the Mediterranean coast in two modern city’s-Tripoli the capitol and Benghazi.
