North India
In class we watched a movie on North India and learned many things, like that the cow is a sacred animal and that India has an extensive railway system. The Gangys is a very long river in India and is very sacred. People come to pray from all over India. It is a very dirty river because people throw dead animals and dead people and other things that pollute the river. People say the Taj Mahal Agra is the most beautiful building in the world. It started being built in 1621 and took over 22 years to build. It is the birth place of the religion of Krishna under Hindu and has many ceremonies and beliefs such as Carma. Carma is the belief that what you do tomorrow is determined by what you did today. A thing to remember in India is not to drink the water and always check tops of water bottles to make sure kids don’t find a water bottle and fill it up and sell it. Corbett National Park was the first park in India. It has over 100 species of birds and 30 elephants.
